This week on the Daytime Show, I’m talking about Arianna Grande and Pete Davidson’s lightning-fast engagement and whether this is romantic as it can be or basically the worst idea ever.
If you’ve been on vacation in a no-Internet zone or hiding under a rock this week, here’s the skinny: Celeb watchers were caught off guard when Arianna Grande announced her engagement to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson — and revealed the almost $100,000, 3-carat custom engagement ring that reportedly took two weeks to make. The couple began dating in May, about five minutes after Arianna and longtime love Mac Miller broke up, and and Arianna was spotted wearing the ring in early June. Which pretty much means that Pete Davidson basically had the sparkly marvel commissioned between drinks and dinner on their like, second date. Maybe he’s psychic and he already knew they were destined to be together. Or maybe he’s like, the best closer EVER.

I wish them all the best (and I’m definitely pulling for a real-life happily ever after story for them) but I’m worried for Arianna and Pete. My advice? A loooooong engagement.
