Rom-com Book Review: GET A LIFE, CHLOE BROWN by Talia Hibbert

February 7, 2021

5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The other day I was saying that I was apparently the LAST person on Goodreads to read GET A LIFE, CHLOE BROWN by Talia Hibbert, despite the fact that approximately 1000 of my reader friends recommended it. All I can tell you is I WISH I HAD READ IT EARLIER because it was so awesome.
When things go badly in her life, Chloe makes a list, and a plan to get her life back on track. This was what hooked me from page one, because as you guys know, my superpower and my kryptonite both are my un-shaking belief that there is no problem, challenge, or crappy life situation that can’t be handled with a well thought out to-do list and enough colored markers. Chloe’s plan, as many good ones do, includes having meaningless, spectacular sex; getting drunk; and doing something “bad” with the help of a hot, tattooed, handyman-slash-artist named Red. This seems like a good plan to me.

This story was hilarious, it was steamy, and it had some really delightful jump-off-the-page-and-hang-out-in-your-living-room characters. Highly recommended.

As I mentioned yesterday, I will be burning through the rest of the series as fast as my little fingers can turn those pages. READ THIS BOOK, it’s fantastic.
