I met Senator Kennedy a few years back at a book event in New York. He was quite gracious, kind and much funnier than I’d expected. He was looking at one camera, I was looking at another, so our photos together look a little bit like we happened to be waiting for the same bus.
I’m sure he was crushed — it’s no secret that Senator Kennedy spent much of his life hoping to get a really good snapshot with a TV dating expert…
Best wishes and my condolences to Ted Kennedy’s family and friends. He will certainly be missed.
